bridges101 Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Is there a trick to get a page working in root directory? Do I need to upload an index file for it to work? I have Pages set as default, and one page I thought would work is index HTML. Do I need a certain file name for the page to work in root directory? Thank you for any help.
TAMAN Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 there is no tricks First you need to set Pages app as default application on your website by going to ACP -> System > Applications Click the little "star" icon on right side of Pages app after that, set one of the Pages as default page by going to ACP -> Pages -> Pages Click the drop down arrow on right side of whichever page you want and set it as default
bridges101 Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 I just tried that but I have 500 server error now. I edited the index file and I can't check box under advanced settings. I put the file back the way it was and I still have this 500 error. What the fudge... I put in a ticket, they should be able to get me back online.
