How do I get rid of this dang thing?

This has survived through multiple skin updates  and board upgrades for years.  Any help would be appreciated.  

I put in a ticket but after some back and forth the final answer was something like "unsupported".

Pretty sure that was added to the “forum rules” section within the settings for the specific forum.
