Allowing SVG and/or Emojis as Emoticons

It would be nice to add this addition on top of the current .gif and .png emoticons.

The svg format is getting more important. It should be available everywhere for usage inside the IPS Suite. Also avatars, community logos and more! This would speed up page loading a lot and enhance the mobile experience.

Agreed - nowadays with hidpi displays, pixel-based graphics are not as flexible and require several versions of the same image to accommodate them.
