TheShixxer Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Hello, Im very new to IPS just last night i opened up an account and started to create my website, Im trying to enter my site and im getting this error, Picture below, I have no idea how to fix this.
GriefCode Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Hey & welcome, You should eithere contact the IPS support via ticket as they will assist you, or you need to get the error log and post it. You can find the error log in your fourm folder at /uploads/logs/error.php Greetings
TheSonic Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 In most cases, error 500 is an Server error - so it's quite possible you find nothing in the /Uploads/logs/ Folder (and if it's serverrelated, IPS's help may be limited) You really have to check the errorlogs of PHP and your webserver - Error 500 can be caused by a wide range of Problems (feel free to post them here).
TheShixxer Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 The thing is i cant get to my site at all, Soon as i go to my site : http://scotsguardgaming.invisionzone.com/ I get the error, It was working one minute then next it was down, I opened a ticket about an hour ago hopefully they get back to me asap because im wanting to get it up and running asap, I only had the site up for a few hours then this happened, It happened last night I thought it was maybe a website error, Just home from work and nothings changed
TheSonic Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Oops, sorry, i thought you were self-hosted, i rarelly have seen 500-errors on CIC-Sites. I also got an error accessing your site. For CIC, IPS will fix this asap - i am pretty sure
