Blogs require more features

Blogs need improvements  compared to wordpress , Blogspot.........one can add widgets , can change layout   

and attachments  downloaded   count needed 

If i shared a pdf file....  no of times it was downloaded should be shown

I would like give more usefully tools to my site member, help they post more content with good value for the site and promote , convert it to Articles content(Page), but the same time they constructing her own content profile.....
