Display format not working for some members

alright so why is it that a field I created, which is required to enter at registration and has the code:

<strong>Platform:</strong> {content}

in the display format box, only shows under some of my users when they post. Like, for new members, who have the field filled out, it just doesn't show for. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Do you have all the following values enabled?:

• Member can see?
• Show on registration page?
• Member can edit value?
• Show publicly on member's profile?
