IPB4 new topics

so i hate ipb4, but it has this sexy api

anyways i am having troubles with creating new topics

any idea whats wrong?

Have you set the forum permission for groups allowed to have access (post, read, reply etc)

in admincp >> community >> forums >> far right of actual forum click down arrow button and select permissions (might also need to do it for the actual categories as well)

I haven't touched the config at all thats the default ipb4 install , i just renamed the default starter "Discussions"

I assume you created a category first then added the Request forum to it ?

No the category was already there "Test category"

OK, so now go into admincp >> community >> forums

see if you have a forum titled Resources (under the Test Category ... possibly where I have A Test Forum)

If not then create one and make sure the Type is: Discussion
