Add custom profile field to post container?

Hey guys, could someone help me add some information to the post container? Basically we have some custom profile fields for squads within our gaming community and it would be great to have the squads displayed in posts. If anyone can help that would be great, FYI I am not as experienced as my profile may suggest lol.

The answer is here. You must set 'Display format' field which is empty by default.
