Enabled a plugin which crashed server

I recently enabled a plugin that was already installed on my boards and it crashed my server, the server is back up and running now but my forums are still inaccessible, is there a way i can disable the plugin via ftp? If not where can i locate the logs to show what actually went wrong.

Ftp? No, but SQL will do it.
