creating new album.. problem uploading this image

I have a problem when creating a new album in gallery. After adding the description there is chance to add an attachment. So I try to upload ( attach) an image which I've needed to resize (it seems iphone creates images mega pixels large which doesnt help in the process) and it says "there is a problem uploading this image" with no indication what the problem might be which would help.

Any ideas please?

You can try increasing the amount of memory allowed..or by switching to iMagick instead of GD. 

GD gives me problems with pics over 5000px. iMagick has successfully done pics for me up to 20000px.
