My server has 12 processors and the CPU is Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 0 @ 3.20GHz. How long (approximately) will it take to convert it to UTF-8, in your opinion ? David.. Posted January 21, 2016 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Hello, A 5GB database might take ~25 minutes to convert. This is my estimation compared to the ~5 minutes it took me to convert a 1GB database. I strongly suggest you take a full backup before continuing and I suggest you turn your board offline when this is happening so new rows don't get entered in the database during the conversion.
