Owdy Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 fb:app_id hasn't been included in the meta tags. Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog. Otherwise, the default app id( 966242223397117 ) will be assigned. 1. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ 2. put this url and debug http://hoitajat.net/forums/topic/17458-minkälaista-työaikaa-teet-ensihoidossa/ App id is specified in ACP settings and at global template. Why is that error?
Owdy Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 solved: this to global template in head section <meta property="fb:app_id" content="your app id" />
Unlucky Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 do you know how this is handled in the lastest version? The IPS default skin is sharing ok but i cannot find any reference to fb:app_id in the global template header And I have a custom theme that is not sharing the correct image so am trying to work out what i need to edit
sobrenome Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I don't know if it will be any positive effect on facebook shares, but I have also added it. Thanks.
LDDG Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Settings >> SEO Optimizations >> Meta Tags From there you can add meta tags to the homepage or any other page for that matter. There you can add the fb:app_id meta tag and it will automatically be added to your homepage. No need to edit your template.
