Defined a semi-transparent PNG and a GIF with 240x18 size and included them for tests as watermark image. Uploading photos to the gallery showed *no* watermark at all. Is there any conclusion? Anyway would be really nice to have a choice where the watermarks will be put and a preview image in the ACP for uploaded watermarks also would be great.
