Hook whole Suite into external framework

Hey,

i just got an external system and would like to integrate it closer to my forum.
The first instance would be to match the header & footer with the page.
Since i want to serve also the whole functionality, im wondering if there is an option to hook the whole suite (top bar, menu) at some point and integrate it into my framework.

I know that phpbb has such a functionality, just wondering if IPS has the same.

The page cannot be driven by the CMS Application itself, since i have a complex database.
