Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
MCOS Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I have one forum section I called "Community" and I want to create a second one called "member's hub" whenever i do this it just makes member's hub a sub section of community. even when i select "no parent" it just disappears from the entire forums, but in the acp it's still displayed as under the community forum
AndyF Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Is it in the right place (in the ACP) ? If you cannot see it on the 'front end' at all, edit its permissions via the ACP and ensure that your group (at least) has permission to see it. :)
Morrigan Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 All forums have to have a parent "category". So if it's a forum you must put it in a "category" container to get it to display at all. When you put "No parent" it makes it a category and therefore it won't show without a forum within it. @MCOS
MCOS Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Just now, Morrigan said: All forums have to have a parent "category". Once I put a sub forum within it, it showed up
