Adsense impressions and CP impressions are way way off?

So I've recently set up adsense on my site through the admin control panel and so far it says i've received 900+ impressions, however when i check through googles adsense website it says i've only received 10 impressions?....what's the deal?

Adsense has stricter definitions (and timing) behind an "impression" and you will need to consult their FAQ for that. Whereas we count each view; no matter if it was a bot, you or whoever.

Adsense filters out spiders and bots. Those won't count.

On a young site, bots may be 90% of the traffic.
