gc_chick Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 My Get Ready for IPS file said that I needed to convert my tables to utf8 and so I downloaded the converter and got it set up to run. When I run it I get these errors. Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home/( taken out for security reasons )/html/forums/utf8convert/index.php on line 22Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home/( taken out for security reasons )/html/forums/utf8convert/index.php on line 22Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/( taken out for security reasons )/html/forums/utf8convert/index.php on line 22I was told never to post my full paths on a public forum so I edited them. Can anyone help me out with this?
Stuart Silvester Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Hi, Your server is using an old version of PHP (5.2), the UTF8 converter (and IPS4) requires that you have PHP 5.3 or newer. You can use this requirement checker to make sure that your server complies with the requirements.
