I found out what it was. If you make safari for mac go into debug mode and spoof it to safari for windows then he shows up. Apparently the version supported by IPB is Safari for Windows.

It's working great for everyone that has firefox, chrome and IE but my fiance is on a mac using Safari and he's not even showing up on the online list at all now. Did I do something wrong?
