Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Follower19 Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 After update to IPBoard 4.0.3, all new users have the same IP address (the local IP address of my server on Azure). How to fix it?
HelloWorld Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Hello there, I have the same issue since switching to a Dockerized infrastructure. I have a Docker container for my IPBoard instance, running behing a nginx-proxy that redirects all requests with the correct domain name to the container. And the IP address displayed for every member is the nginx-proxy local IP on the Docker host network, even though the actual member IP address still is in the request headers. Did you manage to fix this?
Jim M Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 As your instance is running behind a proxy, you will need to go to ACP -> System -> Security -> Security Settings -> enable "Trust IP addresses provided by proxies?"
HelloWorld Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 It did the trick! Thank you for the tip, works like a charm!
