IPS4 Many Groups Resource Hit

Does anyone know if having say 100 secondary groups will cause IPS to crap out.  My forum is not going to be big in member numbers and not a ton of posts but hoping to assign them each their own secondary group that will give each member access to a private area all there own.  Since I am not sure how IPS handles the calls to the Db, what would the overhead be.

Any idea on the hit of server resources?
