Announcements block? Where do you set the announcement?

Adding the Announcement block above the forums and clicking EDIT only provides a choice of # of announcements to show but I can t find anywhere in the ACP where these anouncements can be set. Shouldn t the announcement be writable as you edit the block? If someone knows where the announcements are set please let me know

Ugh... I just created an ANN on my testing forum and it wiped out my avatar.  Now my avatar is showing a broken image.  Maybe this is a bug?

try to reproduce it again .. and if so .. then it's a bug for the bug tracker ..

Funny thing... I've been using IPB for almost 2 years and I never knew the Announcements were in the ModCP.  Learn something new everyday!

found a bug too .. Announcements doesn't stick with "Billing & Purchases" .. all the rest is fine with the Announcement system setting ..
