Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
rbiss Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 My forum does not work because of CHMOD issues. I have tried changing the permissions to 644, 755, 777 etc, but nothing is happening. I raised a ticket but would hope to fix this asap. Anyone have the answer for the fix?
wimg Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 How, if I may ask? We appear to have similar problems, got it resolved too, but some functionality, like the creation of monthly folders in uploads, is still not working. Thank you in advance. Warm regards, Wim
rbiss Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 Sorry, I'm not entirely conversant with this stuff. It was my primary folder. The host fixed it and said "Please note that the server is having suphp php handler and hence the file permission should be 644 and folder permission should be 755." I don't know if that helps.
Rhett Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Here is a guide on permissions if needed http://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/install-and-getting-started/installing-r18
