Bob van Leeuwen
Hello, I'am a fan of a local Tractor Community, it is a custom writen forum package, it also has a notification system with a function that is really handy. When I enter this: [@Usernam], the user gets a notification that his name has been mentioned in the topic, picture ore video. It also generets the code when I quote a user message, ore when I hit te reply buttom on his post. Would this also be possible with IPB? PSNation
I also think this should be included as stock. Social Networking sites have made everyone think that @name is acceptable anywhere on the internet and it does have some benefits on a forum software. At the very least it would prevent users from thinking the b3605f8f6b13a69a5297602263273903 bbcode sends a notification..

Hey, even if the b3605f8f6b13a69a5297602263273903 BBCode did something useful like that it would be a start! But definitely, this is something simple, that would not bloat the software, but rather add a feature to keep up with the times.
