View new content default setting

After using IPB for over a year, I finally found a setting to improve the results for "View new content". I changed this to display all unread content, which is much better. I could never tell what logic was used for the other method, or how many posts I missed because of it.

I think viewing unread content should be the default, or there should at least be a way to set this as the default for all new members.

That's the setting I use. I find the unread option is annoying as new posts disappear from the VNC results once they have been viewed.

I'm not actually sure what the default setting is. I agree that this setting should be the default.
