yacenty Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Hello last days I had switched 2 tables from myisam to the innodb. Accordind to that switch memry used by mysql had jumped. Just now we are using 3.3gb of memy ram - from possible 4gb MySQL is using 1gb. Next days I'm going to switch whole db into innodb - what do You think how much ram should I reserve for mysql if my db is about 1GB disk size? Should I order 4gb ram memory more? the processor in the server is 2x quad xeon
