last days I had switched 2 tables from myisam to the innodb. Accordind to that switch memry used by mysql had jumped.
Just now we are using 3.3gb of memy ram - from possible 4gb
MySQL is using 1gb.
Next days I'm going to switch whole db into innodb - what do You think how much ram should I reserve for mysql if my db is about 1GB disk size?
Should I order 4gb ram memory more? the processor in the server is 2x quad xeon
Thats alot of usuage for Mysql. Post your current my.cnf config and we take it from there.
