This hook adds support for Twitter's new Tweet button, in the same place as the Facebook "Like" button.

It also comes with two settings, to set the "content via" Twitter account, and the "content related" Twitter account, which can be found under the "Twitter Connect" setting group.

If you're using PHP as an Apache module you can use 'path info' or you can use 'query string' if you're on Windows hosting or using PHP as a CGI module. Not sure?

Use 'query_string'.

I racked my brains on that. Did a Google search and found it was an issue with Twitter's API. I was lucky to find the solution on my end.

Okay I've had a look at the invalid URL issue and discovered that it is infact an issue with Twitter not the hook. I've submitted a ticket with them.

For the time being, this hook will not work if you're using the Query String URL format in IP.Board.

90% of the time it doesn't work on my site. As an admin, i see both the retweet button and the facebook like button. Members only see one or the other and sometimes nothing at all where both should normally sit. Guests cannot see the twitter button at all.

Does not work for ip.content; does not appear in the news articles etc. Also need the option to place it on the top of topics, rather than the bottom. Thanks

Works well for me using query string in IPboard and IPblog Thanks.
But because the boardname is rather long I wanted to leave out the boardname. How can I do that? And where?

I just installed it on 3.3.4 but the button didn't show up on IE, Chrome, or Firefox. I didn't make any changes though in case you have any suggestions. Disabling it for now.
