Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Wolfie Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Prechosen color themes: Colors such as red/green/orange/etc, just some really common colors. If a person wants one, they click a link and it's loaded up, then they can adjust as desired. Last 5 downloaded: Keep a record of the last 5 themes, but be based on the last 5 people who used it, keeping the last one that each of those 5 downloaded. Shouldn't tell WHO downloaded it, only let you see what they downloaded.
Amged Osman Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 what if i wanna keep the colors i used unique for my site i wouldnt want anyone to download it :) maybe an option to "share skin with others" to be "ticked" if u want if not then leave as is?
Wolfie Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 If someone sees the color theme you're using and they like it, it wouldn't be too hard to figure out the colors picked so they could duplicate it.
Management Matt Posted May 5, 2010 Management Posted May 5, 2010 I like the idea of flagging a set to "share".
Wolfie Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 I was trying to keep it simple. But hey, if the overall idea is implemented, that works. :)
dr. Jekyll Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I am just curious, is the IP Skin Generator open to all of us or only to the "Active Members"?
Wolfie Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 The Skin Generator is only available to customers with an active support license.
dr. Jekyll Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 If it is only for active customer will be difficult to implement the "skin's sharing". :) Difficult doesn't mean impossible ;)
Wolfie Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 If it is only for active customer will be difficult to implement the "skin's sharing". :) Difficult doesn't mean impossible ;) Sharing as in, when an +AC visits the page, they can view one of the last few skins that were generated.
