Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Bryan Sammers Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I like it that only official IPS blog posts are featured on the top right of the main forum page. And also the removal of the Ressources subforum of the official IPS forum. IPS looks more professional now.
Camoo Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I liked it how it was before. It was possible so see the the most important news on one glimpse. Now i have to visit the blog section and between all those test and nonsense entrys i have to find the interesting postings. But i think that depends on the point of view what is interesting and what not :)

Mat Barrie Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 I think the reason for the change was that they discovered that having it there meant that people believed that any blog post syndicated there represented their official viewpoint - which became an issue when that shared modification licensing system thread came up.
bfarber Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I don't believe the removal is meant to be permanent, but we need to figure some things out with the resources area before we enable "promotion" of it again.
