Posted July 29, 200915 yr Would it be possible when a forum enables the performance mode that it shows something to users to let them know what this entails etc - just i get people mentioning why isnt X/Y/Z working and when the forum is active it gets a tiresome answering things - would be good if it just highlighted the forum is in performance mode which disables some normal features etc.
July 29, 200915 yr Ideally I think if at all possible the error messages displayed should be changed to reflect the fact that Performance Mode is enabled, not just that the user doesn't have permission.

July 30, 200915 yr My thought ... it was such a fantastic idea that it's already been made.See here Wonder if anyone has had any more thoughts on it since then?
July 30, 200915 yr Author Wow hadnt realised this idea had already been raised - i guess not many people are using the performance mode to have encountered the issues of members complaining etc.
