Don't worry. Like I said, in the forum world, time is skewed. When it's released they'll all be like, "It hasn't been an hour yet!" even if it's really be 3 months.

where will the 3.0 release download be found? There an upgrade section in the IPB Admin section we can click to upgrade or do we have to download a .tar.gz and reset up everything then export current databases and reimport it..... there a doco on 'how to' from 2.3 to 3.0? Where at?

Assuming you have an active license, there will be an upgrade package for you to download in your client area.

yes we pay 180$ USD athen 50$ a year....so im gathering that is apart of it. Will it be a one click does everything button, or will it be an exhaustive procedure?

There will be documentation and instructions. Basically, you'll overwrite/dump in the new files and run the upgrade script.

Someone said, I think it was Matt, that it will be a silent release so servers can hold all those requests. It will be announced in a couple of days, I'm sure..
