we need a way of seeing what edit changes a member made to a post when they edit it. Otherwise, members can post offencive content and can then edit it right out of their post and the staff would not be able to know for sure, thus I am proposing an edit history, where you can see every edit and what the post was before and after the edit.

Unfortunately for the vast majority of boards that have more than a few thousand posts this is never going to be a realistic feature. I agree it would be "neat", and it wouldn't be *that* hard to write, however the resources and space it would require to implement such a feature make it unrealistic for us to include I'm afraid.

In addition to sites with massive dedicated server clusters, we cater to those with shared hosting and 10MB disk/database space limits, after all.
