Try running this script :

cd /to/where/you/want/to/store/the/file

wget http://www.day32.com/MySQL/tuning-primer.sh

./tuning-primer.sh

(you may have to change the permissions so you can execute it)


That will have a look at your MySQL goings on and report on anything that might not be quite right.
