Qwerty7500 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Through IPS Customer Care e-mailing, among others I've been informed that IPB3 is going to be optimized for language management, how? I mean, which language overhaul will come with IPB3 to satisfy an international forum community? Easier translation work through ACP and files? I'd like to get more information about significant language mangement improvements from IPB3 Beta users, thanks in advance...
bfarber Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 http://forums.invisionpower.com/blog/ips_news/index.php?showentry=2555 There has been updates since this I think. For instance, each string has a version number, so if you translate something, then we update it, the ACP will let you know your translation is out of date. You can also find all un-translated strings or old translations in the language manager. There's another blog entry somewhere that lists the updates.
