2.3.6 fix

I read about 2.3.6 release for captcha.
But I can't use GD libs in my web space, so what can I do?

The reCAPTCHA used in IPB 2.3.6 shouldn't need GD, I don't think, the images themselves should be coming from reCAPTCHA's servers. I don't see anything on the reCAPTCHA site that says GD is a requirement.

As michael said , reCaptcha should not need GD. BTW GD is a singal option on IPB, If you can't use GD libs in your webspace you can create a custom-field that includes your question (e.g.: What is the owner's nickname). How to? simply goto your acp > management > Custom Profile Fields > add new field > put your all information and then goto the following setting:

Field MUST be completed and not left empty?

If 'yes', an error will be shown if this field is not completed.

Set it to-yes
