Amy T Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 It was only a guess. It could by they attempted to install ipb 3 and it failed so they went back to 2.3.6 and are working on a bug fix. More information about what we will be looking for exactly will be available once we reach this point. [b]After we have ironed out all the bugs and addressed all of the feedback we can, we (as per our usual procedures) will be updating our company forum.[/b] This helps give us a chance to really test out the new release in a live environment. You'd be surprised at some of the issues that never come up during development and basic testing that come up when you move to a live environment. Mark Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 How's this for a theory: They may have been updating the PHP version on this server so that it can run the IPB3 hosted test which as we know needs a higher PHP version than IPB2...
