awaisuk Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Hey. What are the known Problems with converting from IPB (lastest) to VB (latest)? I just want to know if it will cause any problems. blackfalcon Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 This depends. There may be conflicting between the fact that in IPB members have two usernames. However, even if you do have to reset the password, you can simply use a global email to send each member the password reset password, so you dont actually need to reset them yourself. blackfalcon Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Like I said, a global email prior to converging telling them that they may have to reset their password, and then after converging, sending out another email linking them to the reset password field with instructions on how to reset their password, and telling them that if they are unable to reset their password just to contact you will work just fine. awaisuk Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 I am askin it over at both the forums The VB staff told me that IPB2 passes are encrypted so thats why EVERY member in the forum need to reset their pass Is there anything IPB can do to make those passwords convert to VB?
