Hi I would like to see local date support in IPB. I know you can acheive it by hacking the code... but if you have an option for language files I think you should also have an option for localized date formats.

It does, you can edit the way all the times are shown:

AdminCP->Tools & Settings->Date & Time Formats

You just have to edit the boxes by using PHP's date formatting options...

That's not what he's referring to Wondering Soul. ;) He's referring to set_locale support built into IPB, which is something that has been on the plate for a while.
