Feedback: logout doesn't work

Since IP.Converge has been enabled here, logout doesn't work anymore. And I'm redirected to http://forums.invisionpower.com//.

Actually, clicking "Delete cookies set by this board" and/or logging out directly from Converge both work.

This issue is fixed already on my local development copy, but it's in IPB, not Converge.

Okay - just visited that page, and it said I wasn't logged in. Logged in on there, logged out, and I was logged out of the forums.

Tried to login to converge again, and apparently that worked but I still wasn't logged into the board - I've had to login seperately.

Don't know if you're aware of these. :)

ED: However, if you click 'IPS Community Forums', you're taken to the forums and logged in. And logout from the forums seems to work now. :)

To be logged into the forums (if you login to converge) you need to click the "IPS Community Forums" link at Converge (which will send you to the forums). Because we are on separate domains, cookies can't be set, and thus you must follow the link from converge.

Alternatively, if you login here now, it should work.

There are a lot of changes in store for IP.Board to correct some of these oddities, we're just not quite ready to implement them until we gauge how well Converge works and what exactly needs to be addressed. :)

Thanks for clearing it up! I guess I was just expecting the cookies to be automatically set. Speedy fixing work, there. :D

Will the Converge login page be linked off the main IPS website once Nexus etc. are linked up?

We have a bit to do still - we felt it prudent to test with the company forums first (where worst case scenario is we just un-Converge if anything goes wrong) before adding in Nexus. :)

As we get everything setup how we want it, you'll see better integration for the processes.
