Admin Debug

Is there any easy way of showing debug information when working within the admin CP like you can in the main forum?

What I do when I want it ONLY in the ACP is go to

admin/index.php

then right after the

<?php

on the next line I add

define( 'IN_DEV', 1 );

Crude but effective.

However, please note the forum rules - this type of question should really be asked over at IPS Beyond, as it's not so much feedback about IPB itself. :)
