As you know, whenever a new category is created a gap between each category is created. This puts me off creating catagories as I like to have all my forums together until you reach the board stats.

I understand lots of people like the current look, but I think an option should be available for those who wish to switch to the vB look.

It takes like 30 seconds to change the css and remove a few <br /> to get the skin to the way you mention. I would rather IPB be different then look like VB.

IPB is unique because of this. Why would IPS create an option to make IPB look like vB? :blink:

It really is a simple skin edit. I don't think the entire (default) look of the product should be altered over something so inconsequential as a difference in taste. Don't like the way it looks? Skin it, that's why it's possible to do so. :)

I don't see a gap between Board Statistics and the forums?

I've been trying many tutorials since 2.0.0 but each one looks rough. All I suggest is some variation available in how we want our forums to look, can only benefit Invision having options available.

This can be done through the skin. Whether you've found the right tutorial or method for doing it, or have seen anyone else do it, isn't really relevant - I assure you, it can be done. :thumbsup:
