toykilla
With the coming of age of Web 2.0 and the many 3rd party applications, it would be great if IPB could support these out of the box. Currently trying to run script.aculo.us, moo.fx, or prototype.js on IPB prevents the IPB popup menus from working. I was able to hack the IPB js files to work on 2.1, but is there any chance of getting this support without having to modify the js files?

Auhosj
I agree, this would be impressive to see :D
Tim Dorr
Script.aculo.us is slow and bloated. JQuery is where it's at. But frankly, they shouldn't have to adjust their code for a modification. It's the other way around ;)
Rikki
The problem is that script.aculo.us (well, Prototype to be more accurate) changes the way that stepping through arrays works. Given that very few people would need script.aculo.us to work on their board, I think this would be something better left as a project for a modder, rather than us investing the time in changing all of our javascript code to work with it. toykilla
Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will just have to hack it after release..
