Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Mat Barrie Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 They arent really perpetual, you have a seperate cost for renewal each year. I think its like 30 and 25 each. If they want to offer the $25 to renew via a suite option I would like to see an offer such as people who own the two main componets to be able to get a suite license by combing their IP.Board, Ip.Gallery, and IP.blog licenses.I think you'd be best to ask Sales if they can merge your Blog/Gallery/Board licenses together into a community suite. I know some of us would hate that (I have a Lifetime, so converting it would be... moronic at best ;)) but in your case it might make it cheaper if they can do it.
Mat Barrie Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I hope they convert this year, as my license expires bang on the 30th of September. :P :DThe only thing I can say to that, is that if that's a Yearly you will need to renew it ;)
PolakTom101 Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Yeha but one answered by question how much will be Bussiness Editon Community Suite?
King Buzzo Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I asked this via supportmy replies:so I asked for an invoice for $115.05 if it includes the gallery and blogs as well and got this reply  and well I still am not sure which is which and what I'm supposed to pay to make them all one instead of 4 seperate licences, I have the forum/Gallery/Blog/IPB DownloadsThat all has me confused aswell...
Mat Barrie Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Yeha but one answered by question how much will be Bussiness Editon Community Suite? Can I ask why you would want Business Edition? The only difference is the extended phone support, and the 24 hour ticket turnaround time. There is no difference in the software.

If you CURRENTLY have a Yearly, and it expires AFTER the changeover, then contact Sales and I am pretty sure they can set you up with the Community Suite. If you currently have all 4, you'd simply pay the one price of $25/6mo for all of them! (There would be no upfront cost unless your Yearly expires before the upgrade)
The Gamers Force Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 If you currently have all 4The download system is not listed as part of the Suite, only gallery, blog and board are.

The Gamers Force Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 In the actual annoucement the suite doesnt say anything about the download system
The Gamers Force Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 IP.Community SuiteIn addition to the IP.Board license options outline above, you will be able to purchase our entire suite of community products - IP.Board, IP.Gallery, IP.Blog - for a significant discount off purchasing them separately. The community suite will be available, under the Standard License, for $249.00 plus the regular $25.00 ever six months.
Management Lindy Posted September 20, 2006 Management Posted September 20, 2006 The download system is not currently part of the suite - apologies for the confusion. :)
