Coastie Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I would like the ablility to over-ride a members PM storage limit. ie, a user has reached 50 stored PMs and their inbox is full. If an admin or supermod sends them a PM, it should go through, even with a full inbox.
Antony Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 +1, but should be a list of chosen user groups rather than "admins and supermods".
ASFx Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I agree. This is a very important feature that's been overlooked.
AndyF Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I agree too. I would really like to see this feature. Admins (both root and normal) and global moderators should be able to send a pm regardless of whether the users pm box is full or not. Perhaps also a note could pop up to tell the staff member that the users pm box is full but would you like to send it anyway  ? Unsure on whether other groups (say normal moderators) should be able to overide the limit or not... :)
UncleRubbe Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Hum i think that IPB is mature to have an override section where admins can enable/disable overridings for groups such pm storage override, PASSWORDS OVERRIDE (http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=213016) and much more... :P
ellawella Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 This is definitely a good suggestion, just another addition to the list of restrictions admins should have the ability to bypass.
Coastie Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Care to expand? sounds like it is complete for v2.2
Rοb Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Yes, seems like it! Nice suggestion, i am pleased it has been implemented :)
