When truncating status replies is enabled there's no obvious link to click so you can read the whole thing (e.g. a "read more" link) it just appears cut off, could this be added at some point?

I only have one small request. On my board we have 100s of forums, so it's a bit tedious to scroll through the list to see which ones you have already blocked.

Request: Could you add a listing of currently blocked forums somewhere on the page?
Ex:

Forums you are currently blocking:

• Forum 2
• etc...

I would love to have the following:

-- When in ACP, if I follow a non-ACP link that shows in ACP (such as the member's profile link, and then "find posts"), I get taken away from ACP. Can it be set so that when I click on a non-ACP link showing in ACP, it opens the link in a new window so that I don't get taken away from ACP? No, that's not what I'm looking for. That's to do with the view new content page, I'm looking for an option on the search form to be able to show my results as topics. It was available in IPB 2, but it's no longer available in IPB 3.

Could the search feature to show results as topics, pretty please be added back in? I'm constantly getting complaints about this since upgrading, latest one from a user:

It's troubling me that when using search to find old posts, you can no longer view the results as topics and see whether there are new posts in the thread. There just isn't a good alternative to this feature. Can the option to view results as topics be added with a hack or something? I don't know how I'll keep track of threads that might need a response without that feature.

Regarding the original poster not being able to find the setting to enable the WYSIWYG editor... perhaps display a small non-obtrusive message when using the STD editor that the RTE is an option? Similar to the message you display when a user is not using the flash uploader.

Thanks Charles! As a vBulletin user previously, I'm pretty impressed with what I'm seeing in the admin demo. Everything seems pretty smooth and straight forward. A lot of cool little features. :)

Is there anything similar in IPB to vBulletin's 'Notice System'? (ie. you can display a bar at the top based on certain conditionals....hasn't approved email, < 5 posts in 30 days etc.).

Unfortunately, no. There isn't anything similar in IPB like vB's Notice System. There is a "global forum message" mod to display an announcement at the top of the board, but you can't really set specific conditions like in vB. It is a feature I'd really like to see in IPB however: [url=" :)

Honestly, implementation of such a feature doesn't look promising due to concerns regarding resource usage. But, maybe a mod will pop up for it someday.

Allows you to set permissions on which groups can change their member title. It includes 3 options, they are as follows:

• Option 1: Selected groups will be able to change their member title regardless of the set post requirement, unselected groups will need to reach the post requirement in order to change their title.
• Option 2: Selected groups will be able to change their member title. Unselected groups will not be able to change their member title. The existing post requirement setting will no longer have any effect.
• Disabled: If set to disabled, for users to change their member title they must reach the set post requirement. The group selection will have no effect. (IPB Default)
