Thanks @Olivia Clark, I'm increasingly finding myself over time looking out for the regular updates so I'd much prefer you keep them coming 😄 I thought I'd share that I like to separate the regular updates into pots more so across each individual module/application area that you support so it helps me to understand what could be next down the line. Not saying I use the exact pots from the below pic but its close enough. I then separate out to see if we're seeing enhancements; big or small and bug fixes for each one. That way I know when to potentially be asking about certain updates in other areas across IPS. Thanks again Olivia 🙂

Yes, I think Randy is correct as I watched that bit too and if i'm not mistaken, the IPS Blog is written on the Pages application rather than the Blog piece so hopefully all of those features will be available in this drag and drop option. Until then I would just back up how @opentype's strong plugin templates work really well with Articles and other Pages you create.

Hey @DawPi, had a few successful transactions however all 4 people haven't received an email just confirming the code for the game and it doesn't show anywhere else (for instance in 'My Orders') so how do the actually get the code??

Hi, I didn't expect to be around but I was for some of it whilst it was on mute. Here's some feedback if it helps 🙂 Mid-Live on Live Topics: It had already started and my question had been answered so it I went to press the green timing as i expected to go to the answer but it didn't do anything. Then tried to look at the time I needed on YouTube (the Youtube video wasn't auto playing so i initially thought it had finished). I started the video so it immediately went to live but then realised I couldn't just jump to 6.10 for some reason as the timer was a minus from Live. Therefore if you miss the start it felt like just waiting til it had finished to find my answer. The questions box below the live YouTube feed looked smart and a great way to see each conversation live. It definitely like watching a live podcast that was semi-interactable. Like @opentype I tried to watch some of it after it had finished but it forced me out so this could make the user less inclined to watch the rest because it wasn't obvious where it all went. Post Live reading Topic: Like @Rikki, its difficult to see multiple questions and responses on the topic. I can't believe I'm saying this as Discord annoys me 😅 but the way they have used their 'topics' which are just like FAQs would be so much easier to follow for something like this (not other stuff btw!). A bit like the collapse/expand function that I've seen on @opentype's Pages template for FAQs. When you click the side question it separates it out but navigation is slightly weird to get back to the overall chat. Infact, the 'live' view of questions would work great if the view was recreated in the Forum module. I think its still impressive that it moves the conversations to the Forum application virtually straight away, hopefully its just the format/view that is the issue. Actual event question response: I don't want to derail the thread as it still feels like a main thread for Live Topic feedback but I'll just give a small response on it. Please don't take it personally when I say I didn't learn anything new from the response. I know you were going to do an update at some point for Achievements but may have been more meaningful to talk about the specifics I raised on my reply to Olivia pre-event. Ironically Points got mentioned...although I never mentioned it 😅 as I'm not concerned about that at all (because I already get why they are 'hidden' from users and agree why you did it). Main takeaway was more about two things: How you tackle releases, what is expected in them e.g. enhancements vs bug fixes vs big overhauls. Monthly releases usually mean small improvements but I think at the moment its more heavily weighted to bugs more than anything else. Be good to get an understanding on what you try to aim for each month. Do we need to change our expectations of what is defined as 'quick' changes? I raised the question as its been well over 1-2 years for one key module to get any updates, small or large, but I think you intimated that its not been long since you did an Achievement update? If thats the case that might help us re-align our expectations of the products modules perhaps? Hope this all helps in some ways, and happy to make it into a separate thread if my feedback/questions are better that way. Much appreciated 🙂

Is there a better way to ask for these changes at all - for instance, do I look at the Developers and PM specific ones instead about a potential cost of making a plugin/application that then is available for all? Or if you don't get responses here, does that mean its most likely no one wants to try and create this type of plugin/app? I try not to ask for new things as for many I see that post are clearly aware of cost for everything these days so I try and maximise IPS core functions whilst doing the same with multiple third party Marketplace ones. Any help on direction is greatly appreciated - even if thats a separate thread where we all help each other create a custom block by ourselves, for instance? 🙂

No sorry Marc, when I said attachment I didn't mean the person to attach it, I was thinking about how the functionality worked in the creation side of things so I needed that 'attachment' function to help me upload an image alongside a select item. 🙂

I'm starting to understand more, thanks Marc. Essentially if I had a new template that could handle the fields in such a way to show the list options as pictures in a drop down, and then show the selected item as the relevant picture (with title overlaid if wanted like how it shows on other places in IPS) then this is one part of the puzzle. The other is allowing each field to have an attachment, like how the Pages blocks work. Sounds like a request if I haven't got the knowledge currently to do this. Thanks again for the info.

Ah, okay 😔 thanks both @opentype and @Marc Stridgen. When you say 'heavily' customised, it doesn't seem to correlate with the idea of linking one extra field/piece of date to a Field? Are we saying that it would extensive changes to database code? Or fixable with a tweaks of putting the code/plugin in the right places? I'm just trying to work out what the art of the possible is with my own skills or at as little cost to me as possible.. can't deny its a bit gutting if i can't do it with relative ease though, as some ideas were flowing in my mind and I think most people using databases and pages would've found many ways to utilise it. Hopefully seeing me at least try to use your databases and configuration for my own learning/use is at least some consolation to all of us 😄

On Pages, I'm doing my best to try and utilise everything they have to offer. I can see with Fields it can make a record very powerful in what information it can save. My specific thing i'm trying to do now is add a way for a user to add to a new record into a database, where they can select from a number of options. I can do this easily with the 'Select Box' field. However, the things they'll be selecting from need a visual aid so I need to understand how I attach a picture to each option in the field. At the moment I can only select a 'Key' and 'Value'. I believe all the functions are there for what I'm trying to do but I have a lack of knowledge that I'm hoping someone more proficient than me can help with please 🙂 Even if its another 'Field' I must use, its a solution I'm looking for more than just using the Select Box function. I have been racking my brain for ages to try and get some free ones to work with basic blocks and widgets for a page i'd like to create which is linked to Community Goals I want to put out there. Alas, its becoming a struggle so I thought time is right to ask in here now. It seems like there are many templates out there with code already and all it lacks is something to bundle the code up so you can bring it in on any Page you have on IPS. Obviuously, it would be ideal if we had front end easy access to the numbers that could easily impact progress bars so I'm after anyone that can help me please! I'm sure the software already has something around Donations but obviously the progress bar is intrinsically linked to that and we should have the ability to add numerous progress bars for whatever the reason your website needs. I saw this on the weekend for myself too! And I'm on a Samsung S9 looks like I'm on Chrome 109.0.5414.118 if that helps? I actually thought my phone had died because it looked like part of the screen had been tons of lines across the screen like the top image 😅 What's strange is I haven't seen it since then on the few threads i've read on my phone. I can probably understand the above user's concerns because the mobile 'app' works via Chrome for most users and makes up many of people's core percentage of viewers of late.

In fairness, thats what I've been doing for the past however long I've known 😄 I'm just doing way more administration checks now than ever before so I thought I'd better ask to see if I can actually fix it because you never know lately what will cause the next big fatal error. I'll try and sort some separate ACP access out if its something you can help with - to be honest, the reason why I re-found the issue I've seen in the past is that I was trying to find the right view with all of your templates for some categories and this one seems to be the only one that allows you to click the image to proceed into the category...if there was a way to change SuperGallery or SuperGrid to allow the clickthrough to come from the image attached rather than the header then I may change the Category view altogether from this one 😄

Hi @opentype, I currently use all your templates 😄 and i've come across something that seems to be knocking a colour on my website and other default settings. When I leave the cover image on and set to something, everything is fine: Website Home When I switch OFF the Custom Header image, the website clashes with something and sends it off. Any help you can give would be great, thanks in advance 🙂

Its okay @Adriano Faria, I think thats the place! I'll work on it as its a global setting so will need to work for light and dark themes but its enough for now! Thanks for your help so far 🙂

Hi @Adriano Faria, I've been learning and doing my best to rectify little tweaks on some of my apps and came across this one on Raffles. I've done my best to find it in the CSS but clearly looking at the wrong place You'll see that the background is conflicting with the default white text. All I need to do is switch off that background and its fine (or change the colour to black if easier). Either way, I can't seem to find where I am supposed to find it. Do you have any help you could provide please? As the 'ManagePrizes' in View doesn't have any CSS for me to be able to change. The background on the 'Light' version works fine as the text automatically changes to black. Its just unfortunate as our main theme has always been the Dark version. Thanks in advance 🙂

Thanks ReyDev. If you ever do decide to look at this application for improvements, this would be a significant benefit in my eyes. Having people 'request to join' a group they see on your website would be a useful tool to take away all the effort on the admins in the AdminCP. Admins and Mods could effectively just review requests to join, if needed, and then accept them in. I'll have a think about what we could do with this in the interim before deciding if it could make enough impact for us 🙂

Hey @ReyDev! Quick question if possible - Can users request to 'join' a collection at all? Or is the only way to add Members into the Collections via the AdminCP? I've been looking for a way to show members that play in a certain group without the need to use Clubs as I know you can do it in there but that splits the community content far too much from the central view. Thanks in advance 🙂

We've had this happen from time to time - 2 over the last few hours: Every setting I have is turned to a state where they can't do this so unsure why it is happening? Can anyone help please? You would think this is the setting that matters but its always Disabled
