Forums are designed to bring people together, sometimes in meetings, events, virtual or in-person. Availability planners like Doodle are great. They allow you to coordinate availability. An IPS plugin to coordinate availability?

I really hope that FA is someday integrated into the core. Also, if it ever is, remember that some of us have a FA PRO account which should somehow be incorporated. Of course, for now, we can all thank @aXenDev for his app.

FAQ System (IPS v4)
Hi. Following up on an old post. I have club owners asking for an FAQ. Is there any chance of making the FAQ into a club feature thus allowing any club who wants it, their own FAQ? Thx.

Change the owner
As I see it, either IPS integrates all of the functionality that is available in the marketplace, or everything is done to make life easier both for third-party developers and their clients. I firmly believe that this is a cornerstone to IPS’s long-term success. One more thing, we don’t want to lose all the past entries, so a new topic, for me, is not a great avenue.

His profile shows that @InvisionHQ has not visited the IPS board since September 24. I am just so tired of having to beg devs to do the work we paid for as customers. Classifieds is not a feature application, it is a monetizing application whose non-functioning hurts us all. Here’s hoping……. 🙄 @InvisionHQ maybe you can sell or cede the application to a dev who has more time on their hands? Just a thought.

Change the owner
I realize that one cannot change the 'owner' of a thread in the Forum and yet... it would be very helpful if when a dev sells or cedes his/her app to another dev that there be a change of the owner of the app and the support thread. Not changing this is unfair to the dev and to the clients. Clients waste time chasing after the wrong dev and devs do not feel good about the mistaken identity - both the old dev who keeps getting pestered and the new dev who might not be getting the love they deserve for the upkeep of the app, theme or plugin. Maybe you could write a back end script just for IPS to change just files and support threads? It would make the marketplace look more professional to know that it reflects the now and not the then. Thoughts? Thx.

Not sure if I'm the only one, but getting a white screen of death with the current version of Classifieds (on 4.7.3). Only two of my apps are still doing it and Classifieds System, I believe, is indeed one of them. Thoughts?

Spam: address blocking
Suggestion: that when in the support desk we flag a ticket as Spam, that a rule be written to block that email address.

Redirect loop - alerts
Hi Marc. Everything is 100% up to date. Latest IPS, all the apps updated (the ones that were available), latest MacOS, Safari and Edge. But like I said, different browsers so different extensions and two of the browsers were without any extensions/plugins, etc. whatsoever. I mean, it's not the end of the world, it's just when doing a 'login as' which is not often. I can live with it, but it's worth investigation if I'm not the only one. If I am, then alea jacta est 😉

Hi Marc. Two different browsers and the Edge browser is native with no extensions. Just tried with Chrome, same issue. I would highly doubt this, but did the op use Mac? Only thing I can think of. Have you tried it on your end? I assume no issues?

I've just come across this exact issue. Tried with two different browsers, granted both on Mac (Safari and Edge). When I signed in as a user, I got the loop; could not escape. Had to quit, clear cache, etc. to even sign back in as myself. Thoughts?

One more thing. A quick shout out to @Adriano Faria who first thing this morning, and I mean first thing, was hammering out update notices on all of his apps. He's the only one that I've seen all day. I hope they all get approved quickly, but kudos for the immediate intervention. I hope that the other devs are also pushing updates, especially on the big apps that so many of us use!

Good point. Best point in the entire thread, actually. I take back my criticism. If we're serious about our setups, we create testing environments. Truth be told, it's not as easy as 1-2-3, but if your setup is monetized and mission critical, you hire someone who knows what they're doing. This does not mean that IPS could not, IMHO, have been more diligent in the warnings and process, but it splits the burden of responsibility in two. Thanks Chris.

Fair enough. This said, for a major shift, in a mission-critical situation, you check and double check that all are on board. This AM, I awoke to a great upgrade, yay. Launched, and before you know it, half of my apps are locked. All I'm saying is that, as a rule, and perhaps as a reflection of our view of the IPS - Dev relationship, this could have been handled better, that's all. Let's move on, but let's learn.

Not sure if you notified all the third party devs but if they had been they would not be scrambling at the last minute. In a perfect world, for such a major shift, you'd think that third party developers would have upgraded their apps BEFORE 4.7.2 was released. Not looking for an answer or explanation inasmuch as what's done is done, but it would have been smoother.

I'm confused as to what the Spam designation does on the support desk. I have one particular sender who always uses the same email address, the same subject and the same body. I keep marking his support desk message as spam, and yet he keeps getting through. Does marking a message as Spam actually do anything or is it something on the config side I should be looking for? Thx!

Footer banner advertisement not responsive
What am I doing wrong? I have a banner ad in the footer. Unfortunately, on mobiles, the banner does not shrink responsively. I've tried with both 'image' ads and 'html' ads. Thoughts? Anyone else have the same issue? Thx.
