  1. We have upgraded 2 days ago to 4.6.8 and since then we've noticed that some users are unable to upload images like they were used to. I've had a look at our image settings and they are what they've always been and if I try to upload a JPEG of 5000x3335, it resizes it just fine to the maximum (ratio) size and shows the preview If I try a PNG of similar (4816 × 4784) size, it fails I then tries resizing the PNG to smaller size and it fails at 3000x2000, but at 1500x1000 it works?!? I can't seem to find what's going on here that causes those larger (dimensions, not filesize) PNG files to fail. Anyone able to help?
  2. They were added as Moderators. The profile fields are set as I just logged in as a moderator, and they can see these profile fields as well. So I just think that this is not going to work for our situation. I did disable all other tabs, only the Community Map tab was enabled.
  3. And no, it wasn't it. Well, it does allow the Area Organisers to amend markers other than the ones they created themselves, but they are also now able to see private information stored by our members (address info) on their profiles. Weirdly enough, a moderator itself isn't able to do this, but an AO with only the community map privileges is. I've had to delete the restricted moderator group for AOs again as that is a big no-no.
  4. That was it! Initially, I did as you described, but the Community Map tab remained hidden, until I unchecked all in the Content tab. Bit weird, but I got what I needed, a group of non-moderators being able to edit markers they haven't created themselves. Cheers!
  5. Ok, I did look at that option, but I do not understand what you mean by "if you set them as moderators for those groups". What option out of the 50+ or so controls just the editing of markers? I do not want to give them any "moderation" like privileges, that's what moderators are for. edit: actually, the Administrators section seems to do what you refer to, except that with the following set for the group Area Organisers they still can only edit their own markers
  6. Hmm, I'm not seeing anything that you describe
  7. Hi, I wonder if you could help me? We run a site for a one-brand car club and we have just upgraded the old (disabled) Members Map to the new Community Map. The import worked great and we have 4 marker groups. One of the marker groups is for monthly local meet locations, which are arranged and maintained by a special group. I have enabled all permissions on the marker group for local meets, but the area organisers can only Edit their own created marker. Which in principle is fine, but we also have some areas where there are two organisers. Would it be possible to have another permission column which allows members in a group to Edit markers that they've not created, like we can as Admins?
