I don't really have any problem with this, is a minor temporary change to chown -R an application folder, and it's an extra layer of confirmation/security before upgrading an application.

I upgraded to 4.1.9, doesn't appear to be any issues.

I have no other addons installed at all (have also sent you a PM).

Just installed on 4.1.7, configured fine, went to edit the options on a forum and I get the following:
EX2 Something went wrong. Please try again.

Note - This caught me out. I had left my nginx configurations to php7.4, but forgot to force php-cli to be on 7.4, you can do so easily by doing:
@nodle are you sure your background tasks are working on php8.1?
