Is it possible to get rid of View full X link in the topic created from the database record? The reason is, that it does not make sense for some databases. E. g. Links Directory: View full website. (It is ambiguous, as it sounds like someone would open a website, but this is just a record link to the description of the site.) Book Directory: View full book. (The same as above.) Person Directory: View full person. (This sounds odd.) Product Directory: View full product. (The full description of the product is already included in the topic. View full implements there is even more, but there is not.) FAQ: View full question. (Normally one would like to read the answer and not just a full question from the FAQ 🙂 It is difficult to find one suitable description for all databases. Therefore I would like just to have a default IPS embed to the record. Like this one: I have customized HTML template cms/submit/topic this way: {{foreach $record->topicFields() as $id => $field}} {$field|raw} {{endforeach}} {$record->url()} Then I rebuilt synchronized topic content in ACP. The task is completed. Any changes to the Topic field format are considered. The template above is ignored. It still has this View full link. Why? Any chance to change it?

In the meantime, I have banned the member, but he is still shown in the block. It is not a cache, 2 hours later. So, the question is now how to hide unapproved AND banned members from the block.

I use the Members block to show members with the latest activity. How can I exclude (spam) registrations where member has not yet responded to registration validation email, from the block? See an example below on the screenshot, where a potential spammer is not approved but shown in the block.

Yes. You can see the block if you log in as an administrator (the login details are valid). The custom block "Background Test" is placed on the start page at the very bottom and the forum index page at the bottom as well. You can switch to unmodified IPS Default theme to reproduce it.

Just to mention, the page will be included in the sitemap for search engines. Question: is it required to let the page online or is it a one-time verification so that the page can be deleted/hidden after verification is done?

I do not know what sites you mean, but this can be a hint. None of the sites/projects on your splash site work. Not one. I apologize if these are not the WP websites you mean.

@Matt, is there any particular reason, that Pages databases are not included in the Creator plan? Is that due your new infrastructure?

If you "Upgrade to Cloud" in the Creator plan, you are going to lose a lot of functionality, that is included in self-hosted. E. g. no Pages databases no custom apps except those placed in Marketplace no API access (e.g. webhooks or REST API) no integrations like SendGrid, Pixabay, Facebook Pixel, Maxmind etc. no Elasticsearch and thus no similar content widget based on it no hosting in the EU This is what I understand from the new pricing plans. So, it is indeed a feature downgrade, if you switch from self-hosted to Creator. You have to go with Creator Pro to get the same functionality you have as self-hosted.

It is just Pages, that they call Page Builder now. Pages are not fully available on the smallest IPS Cloud plan (Creator). There are only: Dynamic pages Custom blocks from data feeds Custom blocks with WYSIWYG editing But no databases. Databases are only for Creator Pro and above.

There could be an option though in the widget itself. Apply ipsBox? Yes/No. This would not break anything and anyone can set it the way they needed. 😉

This is how IPS is designed unfortunately.

I am asked again and again, why my app FX Pages changes the theme. And if it is safe to confirm new versions on the screen below. And if it will break their theme... This is due to the message the users see when an upgrade for Pages templates is there. The message says the new version of the theme (there is no new theme!) has changed the templates they have edited (they do not have edited any!). Can we have a message that states what really happens? E. g. Some templates have been changed in the new version of the application. Please confirm the changes. It would be also nice to have the message formatted as a warning (ipsMessage_warning) instead of an error. Just to not frighten the user 😉 And ideally have a button where we confirm all new versions with just one click. For non-technical users, those screens with a lot of code are dreadful 😨 Thank you!
